Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds are set to release a book exploring the genesis of their last album and its title track 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!'.
The 46-page mini-book, named after the album, is set to feature handwritten lyrics and notes by Cave, as well as exclusive photos and art.
Interviews with Cave and creators of the album's cover art, Tim Noble and Sue Webster, are also featured, along with a three-inch CD of the track 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!'.
According to Cave himself, the book "deals with the preparation and final glorious outcome of a project that began on the back of an envelope, a literal 'scrap' of an idea and ended up evolving into a genuine cultural idea and classic rock 'n' roll song".
The book is released on July 28, the same day as Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds' new single 'Midnight Man'.
