Yeasayer big up Vampire Weekend at Oxegen
Brooklyn boys leave crowd wanting more
The New York four-piece had those in the tent pogo-ing along, especially during 'Wait For The Summer' and a riotous version of '2080'.
Playing just six songs, the band also took time to praise fellow Brooklyn band Vampire Weekend, urging those present to check them out following set closer 'Sunrise'.
Introducing the track, frontman Chris Keating said: "Big up to Vampire Weekend. You all got to go and see them after us. They're on around now. We're from Brooklyn and they are too...and they're also amazing."
Earlier in the set, the frontman acknowledged the huge applause each song generated, saying: "It really is great to be here. Great to be in Ireland. There's lots of Irish folks in New York, and they're cool like you guys."
Yeasayer played:
'Amblin'
'Wait For The Summer'
'Tightrope'
'Final Path'
'2080'
'Sunrise'
