Run-DMC man hospitalised

Run-DMC's Darryl McDaniels has been hospitalised for severe blood clots in his arm.

The 44-year-old rap pioneer who puts the DMC in Run-DMC is expected to undergo surgery today (July 18) to remove the blood clots.

He was taken to a New Jersey hospital after suffering from pain and swelling in his left arm, reports E! News.

It is not known how long he will stay in the hospital, but he was forced to cancel an appearance tomorrow at the AVP Beach Volleyball Tournament in Brooklyn.
