Club employee arrested after Lil' Kim party death

A bar worker has been arrested in New York in connection with the death of a woman at Lil’ Kim’s birthday party on Sunday night (August 3).

News reports say that a bar assistant at Spotlight on Broadway was taken into custody after the body of Ingrid Rivera was found in a closet on the premises.

Syed Rahman, 24, of Washington Heights reportedly snuck Rivera back into the club after she was thrown out for being drunk in the men’s bathroom during a party, says WNBC.com.

Rivera was last seen Sunday night at the club and reported missing on Tuesday by her mother. It is thought she was hit with a blunt object, resulting in her death.

Lil’ Kim was not aware that any incident had taken place until last night.
