Radiohead brought their highly anticipated live show to the New York area over the weekend, playing two lengthy sets over two nights at the inaugural All Points West festival at Liberty State Park, NJ.
Both sets concentrated heavily on the band’s most recent album 'In Rainbows', as well as throwing in a few old favourites from 'Lucky' to 'Paranoid Android' and 'Just'.
Despite the atmospheric light show, the most impressive sight as night fell was the Manhattan skyline which served as a backdrop to the audience, and in the distance, the Statue of Liberty.
None of this was lost on the band as frontman Thom Yorke dedicated 2001 single 'Pyramid Song' to New York City on Friday night (August 8).
Saturday night's slot saw the band delve further into material from current album 'In Rainbows', though the crowd's reaction was strongest for older tracks such as 'The Bends', 'No Surprises' and 'Fake Plastic Trees'.
Dedicating 'Airbag' to Kings Of Leon, who'd played earlier in the evening, Yorke said: "If we were that good-looking, we'd be famous."
