Janet Jackson released from hospital
But she cancels tomorrow's show in Boston
Janet Jackson has been released following a brief stay in a Montreal hospital, where she was admitted after falling ill during sound check for last night’s (September 29) scheduled concert there.
Jackson spent around two hours at the Royal Victoria Hospital, but no details about her hospitalisation have been released.
The cancellation of the Montreal show was announced to the audience just minutes before support act LL Cool J was to take the stage.
Now Jackson has also cancelled tomorrow’s show in Boston. According to perezhilton.com, ticket holders received an email from Ticketmaster saying that the show scheduled at TD Banknorth Garden has been postponed, with the new date yet to be confirmed.
Jackson also cancelled her show in Detroit last week. The day before the show was to take place, it was pulled due to "production constraints". That show has been rescheduled for late October.
The is the first tour in seven years for 42 year-old Jackson.
