Metallica announce UK tour
Band announce their first full UK jaunt since 1996
February 2009 will see the metal titans embarking on their first full scale tour for British audiences since 1996, having concentrated on festivals and one-off shows since then.
The band recently returned to the top of the UK album charts with their well-received new album 'Death Magnetic'.
Each of the shows will be 'in the round', and support on all dates comes from Machine Head and The Sword.
Metallica will play:
Nottingham Trent FM Arena (February 25)
Manchester Evening News Arena (26)
Sheffield Arena (28)
London 02 Arena (March 2)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (3)
Birmingham LG Arena (25)
Glasgow SECC (26)
Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 24) at 9am.
