Plus singer is aiming to finish song with Jamie T

Adele 'struggling to write second record'

Adele says she is finding it hard to write songs for her second record.

The Nationwide Mercury Prize nominee, who is currently touring her Number One debut '19', claims she is finding it hard to write while on the road.

"Even though I'm given time to be on my own, the last thing I want to do is write a song," she said. "I've written about six songs. Four are really bad, just because I'm kind of getting back into it. Two are alright."

Adele added she wants to continue collaborating following her team up with The Raconteurs on their last single 'Many Shades Of Black' - she sung a version of the track which appeared as its B-side.

Speaking to BBC 6Music she said: "I kind of want to do one with Justin Timberlake or Beyonce, or Christina Aguilera, or Kelis, or someone.

"But it's a bit inevitable and generic... doing one with a big star is expected. So I'd quite like to do one with an up-and-coming person."

The singer is also planning to revisit a track she was working on with Jamie T.

"We started writing a duet when I was writing my album, but never got round to finishing it. It would be good to finish that. I'm a huge fan of his [Jamie T]," she declared.
