Pete Wentz explains choice of baby name

He confirms his son's middle name was taken from 'The Jungle Book'

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has given his first interview since becoming a dad last week, and explained the choice of his son's name – or at least the middle name.

As previously reported, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz gave birth to Bronx Mowgli Wentz on November 21, and Pete Wentz told Ryan Seacrest that the pair thought about the name Bronx for a while, adding the name Mowgli because he and his wife are fans of 'The Jungle Book'.

"We came up with the idea Bronx, we'd been throwing it back and forth a while ago," Wentz said "[and] 'The Jungle Book' is something me and Ashlee bonded over. It's really cool."

Wentz revealed he's already changed some "exploding" diapers, and said that he fell "instantly in love” with his five-day-old son.

Woah dude. If they wanna call their baby that name then go for it. Iknow plenty of people called, Belle and Arora and Ariel and Jasmine. Its just one more disney characters name. AND what an amazing film for the name to come from. So much meaning and considering it means a lot to him and his wife and the fact that they made the little one, then yeah., they have the right to call him whatever they want. so hows about shh:)xxx
