Vampire Weekend, Patti Smith for Tibet House benefit
The National also among acts to perform at Carnegie Hall

Vampire Weekend, Patti Smith and Jesse Smith, and The National have all been confirmed to perform at the 2009 Tibet House Benefit Concert, taking place at Carnegie Hall in New York City in February,
Philip Glass is the artistic director of the concert, which will raise money for Tibet House US, an organization that aims to promote and preserve Tibetan culture by serving as both a cultural centre in New York City and an online global resource for those interested in Tibetan civilisation.
The event will take place on February 3, and tickets are priced between $30 - $85. They are currently available at the Carnegie Hall Box Office .
