'X Factor' winner Alexandra Burke's 'Hallelujah' breaks download record
The song is set to become the show's biggest-selling release
'X Factor' winner Alexandra Burke is on course to claim the UK's Christmas Number One single position through download sales alone.
Burke's cover of 's version of 'Hallelujah' also looks likely to feature in next week's chart, after rising to Number 30 yesterday. NME.COM reported last week (December 9) that Buckley fans were campaigning to get his song to Number One.
One Facebook group dedicated to the cause currently has over 35,000 members, who are being encouraged to download Buckley's version of the song this week. It originally appeared on his 1994 debut album 'Grace'.
