Simon Cowell has been voted the most famous person in the world, beating the likes of The Queen, Harry Potter and God.

Cowell came out top in a poll that saw 1,600 under-10's answer the question 'Who Is The Most Famous Person In The World?', reports The Independent.

'The X Factor' judge and music mogul beat God into second place, while The Queen was placed third. Fictional wizard Harry Potter came fifth in the poll, which was carried out by Luton First.

Over 15 million people watched the final of 'The X Factor' on Saturday night (December 13) - a record for the show.
