Your chance to win a six-month position with NME.COM

NME.COM has teamed up with The Guardian to give one talented student a chance to join our team.

We are supporting the Student Critic Of The Year category at the Guardian Student Media Awards. And as well as £650 cash and a week's work experience at The Guardian, this year's winner will get a six-month internship as NME.COM's regional blogger.

The winning critic will oversee our regional music-related blogging - attending regional gigs, tours, and reviewing new music releases.

NME.COM Editor David Moynihan explained: "This is a great opportunity for an up-and-coming journalist to get their own column on one of the most respected magazine websites in the world, read by over four million users every month. It'll be a Willy Wonka-esque golden ticket, giving them incredible access to all of their region's live music and the best new music releases long before they're in the shops."

The deadline for entries is July 3, with winners announced at the awards ceremony in September. For more information, visit the Guardian.co.uk/studentmediaawards.
