Sony unveil new iPod-busting Walkman
X Series is available from May
Sony have unveiled their latest Walkman, which they hope will challenge the dominance of Apple's iPod.
The new X Series has a similar touch interface and cover flow to the popular iPod Touch, but also utilises physical hardware controls.
It utilises Sony's patented OLED display on a screen that is smaller than the Touch at three inches, and it boasts built-in noise cancellation.
The new Walkman ships on May 10, and is available for pre-order at £283.
