Intimate Blur shows sell out - but charity will have extra tickets

Teenage Cancer Trust to auction Goldsmiths College tickets soon

Blur have declared their reunion shows this summer will see the band evolve musically – so don’t expect them to be tired nostalgia fests. The comeback kings, who began rehearsing in January, first dropped hints they would be playing more than just a greatest hits show this summer after exclusively announcing their reformation to NME in December.
Blur's intimate comeback shows have sold out - however, extra tickets for the London show will be available soon.

The band play play Colchester's East Anglian Railway Museum on June 13, before heading London's Goldsmiths College on June 22.

All the tickets for both gigs were snapped up after they went on sale to the band's fanclub this morning (April 17).

However a spokesperson for the band has told NME.COM that extra tickets for the London date will be auctioned by The Teenage Cancer Trust soon. Stay tuned to NME.COM for the latest.

Meanwhile Blur are expected to announce more warm-up gigs, before playing shows at Manchester MEN Arena (June 26) and London Hyde Park (July 2, 3).
