Nadja Benaissa was arrested on suspicion of passing on the virus knowingly
Nadja Benaissa, singer with German girl group No Angels, has been released following her arrest for allegedly having unprotected sex with three men while knowingly carrying the HIV virus.
Benaissa was arrested on April 11 in Frankfurt on suspicion of sleeping with three men between 2004 and 2006 without informing them of her condition.
The singer, who shot to fame after appearing with her group on the TV show 'Popstars' in 2000, has since been released from police custody, reports BBC News. Her release was subject to conditions which have not been disclosed.
The star is still facing possible charges of grievous bodily harm.
