TV On The Radio announce Prospect Park Bandshell show
Brooklyn band will play hometown on August 11
TV On The Radio are set to perform at Prospect Park Bandshell this summer, as part of the Celebrate Brooklyn series of events.
The band will perform their home borough in August 11, with part of the proceeds going towards the Scotty Hardy Trust and Sweet Relief organisations.
Celebrate Brooklyn is one of New York City's longest- running free outdoor performing arts festivals. The organisation was launched in 1979 to bring people back into Prospect Park after years of neglect.
MGMT and Animal Collective will also play shows in the park this year.
