Leonardo DiCaprio to play Frank Sinatra in biopic?
Actor has hired a singing coach
Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly set to play Frank Sinatra in a forthcoming film about the late Rat Pack crooner.
Director Martin Scorsese is behind the movie, which focuses on Sinatra's reported involvement with the Mafia.
DiCaprio, who previously worked with Scorsese on 2002's 'Gangs Of New York', is apparently top of the director's list to play the role, reports The Sun.
The actor is apparently so keen to bag the role that he has hired a vocal coach to try and mimic Sinatra's famous croon.
DiCaprio was allegedly turned down for the lead role in 2001's 'Moulin Rouge' because director Baz Luhrmann didn't think his singing voice was strong enough, the part instead going to Scots actor Ewan McGregor.
