Scarlett Johansson and Pete Yorn have recorded an album together, and it is set to be released in September.
The record, which is called ‘Break Up’, was recorded in 2006, two years before the actress released her Tom Waits covers album ‘Anywhere I Lay My Head’.
The album was inspired by Serge Gainsbourg's 1960s recordings with Brigitte Bardot, and after Yorn dreamed up the concept he contacted Johansson. According to USA Today, Johansson laid down her vocals for the record in two afternoon sessions.
You can hear the single from the album for free at thebreakupalbum.com
‘Break Up’ will be released on September 8 in the US.
