Bruno gives verdicts on Amy Winehouse, Pink and Madonna

Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy character lets rip at popstars

Sacha Baron Cohen's new film character Bruno has let rip at pop stars including Amy Winehouse, Pink and Madonna.

The fictional fashionista, set to star in the 'Bruno' film, out July 10, mistook Pink for a man and had a dig at Madonnas penchant for Malawi babies.

Staging a 'takeover' of magazine Marie Claire, he said of Pink: "Just vatching him now on MTV. A great singer und so hunky."

He goes on to say Amy Winehouse is "... not too skinny, in fact, for ein junkie she is actually zehr fat’".

Of Madonna he says: "Little black child... thanks to Madonna... it's zis season's vardrobe essential."

It was revealed yesterday that the prank Bruno played on Eminem at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (May 31) was staged.
