Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today’s top gossip:

Simon Cowell and Timbaland are planning to remake 'Saturday Night Fever' for the big screen. Cowell is apparently on the verge of securing the rights to the film from producer Robert Stigwood, and has drawn up a wishlist of talent he wants to work with on the remake, including super-producer Timbaland, who is set to look after the film's soundtrack. 'High School Musical' star Zac Efron is tipped to play the lead role (The Sun).

From the papers:

Dizzee Rascal says he doesn't make any outlandish demands when it comes to dressing rooms. "I just request honey and lemon," he said (Daily Star).

Agyness Deyn took her friends to a strip club after watching Oasis' Heaton Park gig in Manchester on Saturday (June 6) (The Sun).

Amy Winehouse wants to work as a volunteer looking after sick children on St Lucia (Daily Star).

Britney Spears was forced to sell tickets to her London O2 Arena gigs at the weekend for just £2 to fill seats (The Sun).
