Christina Aguilera working with Le Tigre on new album

Perez Hilton confirms the news on his Twitter account

Christina Aguilera has enlisted Le Tigre to help work on her new album, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

Hilton used his Twitter account to say he had bumped into Le Tigre member JD Samson, who told him of the collaboration.

Hilton said on Twitter: "Just ran into JD Samson, my not so secret crush. JD tells me Christina is working with Le Tigre on her new album! OMG!"

Le Tigre, who include former Bikini Kill frontwoman Kathleen Hanna on vocals, have been on hiatus since January 2007.

Aguilera's album, provisionally entitled 'Light & Darkness', is set to be released this September. She is rumoured to have worked with The Neptunes, Goldfrapp and Ladytron on the album.
