Eminem is set to reunite his rap troupe D-12 for a new album after a five-year hiatus.
The rapper, who recently released a new album, the Dr. Dre-produced 'Relapse', told US TV show Rap City that the Detroit collective were set to hit the studio soon.
"Me and the guys, we got a bond, it's special," he said. "It's like, as far as the future of D-12, we're gonna be back in the studio soon."
Eminem added that his feelings towards the late D-12 rapper Proof, who was murdered in 2006, contributed towards his decision to gear up work with the band again.
"I think this is what Proof always wanted," he said. "For me to go crazy again."
