Tool, Wolfmother to perform at new California festival

Linkin Park, Alice In Chains also set for Epicenter 2009

Tool, Linkin Park, Alice In Chains and Wolfmother are among the bands set to headline the very first Epicenter Festival, set to take place in Southern California this summer.

The annual festival will be held on August 22 at the Fairplex in Pomona, California.

Also on the bill for the inaugural festival are Atmosphere, Hollywood Undead, Atreyu, Tom Morello's Street Sweeper Social Club, Aesop Rock and Sonny. Additional bands are expected to be added to the bill in the coming weeks.

This will be Linkin Park's only North American tour date this year, according to frontman Chester Bennington. It will also feature Wolfmother's new line-up.
