Paul McCartney planning farewell tour? - Daily Gossip

Today’s top gossip:

Paul McCartney is planning to quit touring, according to gossip. The former Beatle will bow out by playing a massive worldwide farewell tour next year. Among the places he's keen to play are China's Tiananmen Square and Berlin's Checkpoint Charlie.
A source claims that Macca doesn't want to carry on touring into his old age - he's 67 at present - though "he might play the odd benefit gig if the likes of President Obama gives him a bell". McCartney himself hasn't commented on the reports (The Sun).

Wedding photos of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil were dumped in a skip in north London, only to be found by an eagle-eyed passer-by (Daily Star).

Former Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon has laid into Lily Allen. "I absolutely detest Lily Allen," she said. "She has such a bad attitude and I don't like people who don't want to do any work. I think she's had a push from her dad" (Daily Star).

Robbie Williams and Whitney Houston are being lined up to play a series of dates at London's O2 Arena, replacing the dates Michael Jackson was supposed to play (Daily Star).

Shaun Ryder says his only tipple these days is "a few pints of Guinness and a bit of weed" (The Sun).

Beverley Knight has sampled Orange Juice's 1983 hit 'Rip It Up' on her new single 'In Your Shoes' (Daily Record).

Razorlight's Johnny Borrell has turned down the chance to duet with Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant at the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Rockwell charity event at London's O2 Arena on September 11 (The Sun).

Michael Jackson's dad Joe says that the singer did have a secret child – 25-year-old Omer Bhatti. "He looks like a Jackson, he acts like a Jackson, and he can dance like a Jackson," he said (The Sun).
