Bauhaus man to cover Glasvegas at unique solo shows
David J will celebrate 'love, death and glory' in LA
David J of Bauhaus and Love And Rockets has announced that he will give two unique performances in Los Angeles, during which he will play original material as well as cover songs by artists including Nick Cave and Glasvegas.
The famed bassist and vocalist is set to perform August 15 and 16 at the Cavern Club Celebrity Theater in Los Angeles.
The performance will be divided into three sections. The first, titled 'Bouquets', will feature love songs including Cave's 'Love Letter'. The second section is titled 'Wreaths' and is songs of death. The third section is called 'Laurels' and will feature a song of glory, David J told NME.COM.
He will be accompanied by Bernadette Colomine, the French singer known for her work with Rufus Wainwright, as well as Susan Constantini on piano, Tony Green on bass and Tom Vos on violin.
