Sufjan Stevens announces headlining tour

Sufjan Stevens has announced a headlining tour of the US, kicking off on September 21 in Philadelphia, PA.

Stevens is on the lineup for ATP New York next month, and is scheduled to perform on September 12. Other acts on the bill for the event are Super Furry Animals and co-curators The Flaming Lips, as well as many more.

As previously reported, Stevens is preparing for the release of a CD/DVD package of his film 'The BQE' and its soundtrack in October.

The film, which is about the Brooklyn Queens Expressway in New York City, will be released on October 20. The package will include a DVD of the film, a CD of its soundtrack, and a 40-page accompanying booklet.

Stevens is also gearing up for the release of an album of rearranged versions of songs from 2001’s ’Enjoy Your Rabbit’. The new record, entitled ‘Run Rabbit Run’, will also come out in October.
