Johnny Cash to become 'Guitar Hero 5' character

Gamers can play the singer at the Electric Honky Tonk Bar venue

Johnny Cash is to be a playable character in 'Guitar Hero 5'.

Fans will be able to play and sing as the legendary singer on the game, which is released on September 18 in Europe.

As well as playing 'Ring Of Fire', they can also use Cash's character to perform at the new Electric Honky Tonk Bar venue, reports Gameguru.in.

In July, it was announced that Garbage's Shirley Manson is also set to become a character in the game.

Other artists who have music appearing in 'Guitar Hero 5' include The White Stripes, Kings Of Leon, The Rolling Stones and Vampire Weekend.
