Radiohead's Thom Yorke to release new solo single
Cover of Mark Mulcahy song set for September release
Radiohead's Thom Yorke is set to release a solo single – a cover of 'All For The Best' by Mark Mulcahy – on September 7.
The single is listed for sale at Recordstore.co.uk, with the store claiming that 2,000 copies of the seven-inch vinyl release are to be released.
The B-side of the single will be Mulcahy's original recording of 'Ciao My Shining Star' – which will also be the name of a tribute record to him that Yorke's song will appear on.
'Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs Of Mark Mulcahy' is set for release on September 14 in the UK and will feature efforts by Mercury Rev, REM's Michael Stipe, Dinosaur Jr, The National and Frank Black.
Radiohead are set to headline the Reading And Leeds Festivals, which take place on August 28-30.
