Police are reviewing the investigation into the death of The Rolling Stones' guitarist Brian Jones after the emergence of new evidence.
Detectives in Sussex are re-examining the case from 40 years ago after being handed relevant new documents, reports BBC News.
Jones (far left) was found dead, aged 27, in July 1969 at the bottom of a private swimming pool at Cotchford Farm in Hartfield, East Sussex. A verdict of death by misadventure was recorded at the time, although some fans have since claimed he was murdered.
A spokesperson for the police said it was too early to say whether a new investigation will be launched, but they will look at the "new papers".
