The Strokes' Julian Casablancas made his solo live debut at the Liquid Room in Tokyo on Saturday night (August 29) – watch video footage of the gig by clicking below.
The frontman and his band previewed songs from his forthcoming debut solo album 'Phrazes For The Young' in front of a crowd including Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon, reports fashion website WWD.com.
Casablancas, wearing a white T-shirt, waistcoat and jeans, thanked the crowd by saying "I want to thank you for this positive experience" during the set.
