Lady Gaga tops all-time singles download chart

'The Fame' singer thanks her "little monsters" for the success of 'Poker Face'

Lady Gaga has come out on top of a one-off chart covering the first five years of the UK Official Downloads Chart tonight (September 6).

'Poker Face' is the most downloaded single in the history of the Official Charts Company run-down, clocking up 779,000 sales.

Another of the singer's tracks, 'Just Dance', came third in the list, with Kings Of Leon's 'Sex On Fire' sandwiched between the two.

Lady Gaga thanked her "little monsters" for putting her track at the summit of the chart.

"I love my fans eternally, and will continue to live, breathe, bleed, and love music and fashion for them," she said.

'X Factor' winner Leona Lewis had two entries in the Top 10 of the chart – 'Run' and 'Bleeding Love' – while La Roux's 'In For The Kill' also scored highly.

The Top 10 of the All-Time Official Downloads Chart is:

2. Kings Of Leon – 'Sex On Fire'
3. Lady Gaga – 'Just Dance'
4. Kings Of Leon – 'Use Somebody'
5. La Roux – 'In For The Kill'
6. Snow Patrol – 'Run'
7. Leona Lewis – 'Hallelujah'
8. Leon Lewis – 'Bleeding Love'
9. Snow Patrol – 'Chasing Cars'
10. Nickelback – 'Rockstar'
