Peter, Bjorn and John cancel UK and Ireland tour
Swedish trio cite 'family matters' for the decision
Peter, Bjorn and John have cancelled their upcoming tour of the UK and Ireland.
Due to start tonight (October 1) at The Electric Ballroom in London, the band have axed all seven dates on the tour.
"Peter, Bjorn and John are deeply and sincerely sorry but we are unfortunately forced to cancel the upcoming gigs in the United Kingdom and Ireland," read a statement on the band's MySpace. "It's a great shame but due to things out of our control concerning family matters we simply can't pursue the tour at the moment."
The cancelled dates are:

Leeds The Cockpit (5)
Birmingham Academy (6)
Sheffield The Leadmill (7)
Norwich The Waterfront (8)
