Rapper charged with 'Obstruction'

Soulja Boy arrested while shooting new music video
Soulja Boy has been arrested whilst shooting his new music video.

The rapper who was on location at an abandoned house in Georgia, was charged with obstruction and bonded out yesterday (October 8).

Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton said Friday (October 9) that when officers arrived Wednesday night to investigate complaints, almost half of the 40 people assembled fled by foot.

Later a man identified as DeAndre Cortez Way, Soulja Boy's real name, returned and said the group was shooting a video.

Earlier this year Soulja Boy's song 'Kiss Me Thru the Phone' caused an Oldham family to receive 60 calls a day, when he mentioned their number on his song.
