Axl Rose demands apology for Guns N' Roses Reading Festival controversy
Singer also thanks fans on Twitter

Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose has demanded an apology from Reading Festival organisers following the band's controversial performance on Friday (August 27).
The band arrived onstage around an hour late and then refused to leave when the sound was cut as they tried to play an encore.
Posting on Twitter, the frontman said he felt the audience deserved an apology from organisers.
"In regard to Reading we feel at the very least the fans deserve an apology from those responsible for the nonsense," Rose wrote. "We'd also like to thank the fans for being so great, singing along n' not tearing the place apart!!"
The singer's bandmates have also criticised the organisers, suggesting they hold "a grudge" against the band.
NME will be speaking to Benn later today (August 29) for his reaction. Organisers maintain the band will play Leeds Festival this evening and that the sound was only cut at Reading to comply with the event's licence.
