Speaking about the album in an official update, Alec Empire states: "Musically we have taken ATR's signature sound way into the future. The beats have more punch, the baselines are heavier and the songs possess another level of depth."

'Is This Hyperreal?' is the long-awaited follow-up to 1999’s ’60 Second Wipeout’.

The band will play London's Islington Academy on May 12.
