Nicki Minaj attacked in 'hotel altercation' in Texas

Nicki Minaj has allegedly been involved in a violent brawl in a Dallas hotel.
According to TMZ, the rapper allegedly got into a pool side argument with her male companion. Police were called to the Palomar Hotel where Minaj apparently had an "intense verbal spat" with the unidentified man that she was staying in the hotel with.
The rapper told a hotel employee to call police before going back to her hotel room with her companion. However, the website also reports that when the police and ambulance arrived, Minaj told the authorities that the man had hit her in her lower lip.
The rapper allegedly said that she did not want to press charges and claimed that she was not in a relationship with the man. Her alleged attacker had left the scene of the crime by the time they authorities had arrived.
Minaj was in Dallas because of the Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour, on which she is the supporting act. Minaj has so far refused to comment on the incident.
