Tyler, The Creator has claimed that "talking about rape and cutting up bodies" doesn't interest him anymore.

The Odd Future main man told Spin that he is hoping to release his new album 'Wolf' in May next year, and insisted he'd be moving on from the gruesome subject matter of this year's 'Goblin' LP.

He said:

Talking about rape and cutting bodies up, it just doesn't interest me anymore. What interests me is making weird hippie music for people to get high to. With 'Wolf', I'll brag a little more, talk about money and buying shit. But not like any other rapper, I'll be a smart-ass about it.

The rapper – who was recently criticised by Canadian duo Tegan and Sara for his apparent misogyny and homophobia – went on to add: "People who want the first album again, I can't do that. I was 18, broke as fuck. On my third album, I have money and I'm hanging out with my idols. I can't rap about the same shit."

Last week, Odd Future band member 'Left Brain', real name Vyron Turner, was charged with assault after he allegedly slapped a female photographer.

Snapper Amy Harris opted to press charges against the rapper, who is accused of striking her at the Voodoo Experience festival in New Orleans last month (October 30).
