Tyler, The Creator has starred in a cartoon TV programme.

The Odd Future rapper has recorded the voiceover for a character on Cartoon Network's Regular Show which he says is "LIKE MY SECOND FAVOURITE SHOW".

The character, which is based on Tyler, participates in a rap battle with another rapper, also voiced by Tyler. Known for his expletive laden raps, Tyler took to his Twitter account after the show aired to state - 'THAT WAS AWKWARD RAPPING WITH OUT SAYING FUCK'.

The programme, which aired on Cartoon Network on November 21 also features Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, and MC Lyte.

The move into television follows the announcement of Odd Future's very own reality show. The series, which is set to be titled Loiter Squad, will be shown on cable channel Adult Swim from early next year. The show will consist of 15-minute episodes which will feature the Los Angeles rap collective performing sketches, man on the street segments, playing pranks and performing some of their tracks.
The show is being put together by Dickhouse Entertainment, the production company behind Jackass.

Meanwhile, Odd Future are due to return to the UK for a four-date tour in March.
