Last week, Kasabian told NME of their joy while watching England's Euro 2012 victory over Sweden in a crowd full of Swedish fans. The band had just played at the Hulsfred festival on Lake Huligan when England won 3-2 in their second match of the tournament.

Bass player Chris Edwards told NME: "The game was straight after our Hultsfred set. We watched it from the disabled platform overlooking the second stage. Because the festival was in Sweden, instead of putting a band on during the game they put a massive screen up so we watched it with about 20,000 Sweden fans."
