London Grammar announce 2014 UK tour dates
Band will take their new album 'If You Wait' on the road in January and February
The band, who recently missed out on a Mercury Prize nomination despite being favourites for the award prior to the shortlist announcement, will play 14 gigs during the tour, including a show at London's Troxy. London Grammar released their debut album 'If You Wait' on September 9 and saw it debut in the Official Album Chart at Number Two, behind Arctic Monkeys' 'AM'.
Starting in Cardiff on January 28, London Grammar will then play gigs in Manchester, Nottingham, Cambridge, Brighton, London, Liverpool, Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Bournemouth and Birmingham before ending the jaunt in Bristol on February 17. Scroll down to see the full list of dates.
Mercury nominees Disclosure recently expressed their surprise at not seeing London Grammar on the shortlist for this year's prize. The shortlist of the 12 'Albums Of The Year' chosen by an independent judging panel were announced on September 11 at London's Hospital Club. Arctic Monkeys' new album 'AM' is nominated while Bowie's comeback album 'The Next Day' will also be in consideration. Other albums on the shortlist include James Blake's 'Overgrown', 'Settle' by Disclosure, Laura Marling's latest album 'Once I Was An Eagle' and 'Holy Fire' by Foals.
