Perfect Pussy have announced a run of UK dates set to take place later this year.

The Syracuse punks will be stopping off during their world tour for five shows, starting in Brighton July 29 with support from Joanna Gruesome before further appearances in London, Glasgow and Manchester.

The band will appear at both Visions and Jabberwocky festivals in London. James Blake and Neutral Milk Hotel will headline Jabberwocky. The two-day event, named after a poem in Lewis Carroll's Through The Looking Glass, will be staged at the ExCel Centre and will also see sets from Sun Kil Moon, Forest Swords, Caribou, Iceage, I Break Horses, Speedy Ortiz, Hookworms, Connan Mockasin and Metz.

The tour comes in support of the band's debut album 'Say Yes To Love'. Singer Meredith Graves poured a vial of blood into the mix for the vinyl pressings. Speaking to NME about the move, she said: "It started as this really relaxed joke, but once we said it we were like, we have to do it."

Perfect Pussy will play:

Brighton Green Door Store (June 29)
Glasgow Mono (31)
Manchester The Deaf Institute (July 1)
London Visions Festival (2)
London Jabberwocky Festival (15)
