Blur, who play a 'secret' gig tonight at Oxford Brookes University, play an exclusive live set on Radio 1 on March 15, the day their album '13' is released on Food. They have also been slated to play the Peel Sessions Live festival at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall in April.
The Radio 1 gig is at the London Golders Green Hippodrome and will be broadcast on Lamacq Live. Competitions to win tickets for the 700-capacity gig are being held on every Lamacq show from March 8-12.
The Festival Hall gig will be the third of John Peel's monthly gigs, which was due to kick off on January 31 with The Bluetones and Gene. The other gigs in the four-date event include Coldcut and Masonna on February 17 and Orbital and Plastikman on April 8.
