Los Angeles noise duo No Age have announced that their new album 'An Object' will be released on August 19.

The record will be the follow-up to 2010's 'Everything In Between' and was recorded in their hometown with long-time collaborator Facundo Bermudez at Gaucho's Electronics. Bermudez worked with the band on their 2007 'Weirdo Rippers' LP and toured with the band in support of 'Everything In Between'.

According to a cryptic statement from the band: "This new LP finds drummer/vocalist Dean Spunt exploding from behind his kit, landing percussive blows with amplified contact mics, 4-string bass guitars, and prepared speakers, as well as traditional forms of lumber and metal. Meanwhile, guitarist Randy Randall corrals his previously lush, spastic, sprawling arrangements into taught, refined, rats' nests."

The tracklisting to 'An Object' is as follows:

'No Ground'
'I Won’t Be Your Generator'
'C’mon Stimmung'
'Defector/ed'
'An Impression'
'Lock Box'
'Running From A-Go-Go'
'My Hands, Birch And Steel'
'Circling With Dizzy'
'A Ceiling Dreams Of A Floor'
'Commerce, Comment, Commence'

No Age released their debut album 'Weirdo Rippers' via Fat Cat in 2007. This was followed by 2008's 'Nouns' and 2010's 'Everything In Between' – both via Sub Pop. Read NME's review of 'Everything In Between' here.
