No Doubt postpone new album plans
Band say they aren't likely to release any new material until 2010
No Doubt drummer Adrian Young says the band are unlikely to release any new material in 2009.
The ska-influenced outfit announced they were reforming in November, with frontwoman Gwen Stefani also hinting that they would release a new album.
However, speaking to MTV News, Young said the band would continue working on fresh material while they tour, but a new release will still some way from completion.
"We've been working on a new record off and on now for a bit of time, and we're going to continue to work on a new record next year," he said.
"We're going to start touring in the spring of 2009 through the summer, and we're going to continue to work on music while we're travelling."
Young said that the band plan to install a mobile studio on their tour bus.
The group have not released an LP of studio material since 2001's 'Rock Steady'.
