Band also team up with Slow Club for intimate library show
The four-piece burst into 'Sweets For My Sweet' midway through the track '5 Years Time' in front of a small crowd at Archway Library.
The band were also joined by Becky Taylor from Sheffield folk duo Slow Club, who helped out on backing vocals throughout their short set.
Opening with 'Give A Little Love' the band performed against a backdrop of library shelves before they went on to play a host of tracks including forthcoming single 'Shape Of My Heart'.
Speaking to NME.COM after the gig singer Charlie Fink said: "It was weird but fun to play here and it was definitely a change of pace for us. It was funny in the soundcheck, we were faced with all these kids and they were just laughing at us but the crowd really seemed to be into it then."
The gig, which was part of a series of quirky concerts organised by Pure Groove Records, was a warm up for the band before they play four shows at the Camden Crawl tomorrow (April 18) and Saturday (April 19).
"I'm really excited about that because its our first Crawl," Fink added. "It's going to be pretty manic but I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun and hopefully we'll get time to check out some of the other bands."
Noah And The Whale played:
'Give A Little Love'
'Mary'
'Jocasta'
'Shape Of My Heart'
'5 Years Times'

'Shape Of My Heart' is out on May 5.
