Noah And The Whale also score high album chart entry

Katy Perry has topped the UK singles chart for the second week running with her single 'I Kissed A Girl'.

Kid Rock's 'All Summer Long' remains at Number Two while The Script's single 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' has moved up one place to three and The Verve are up to Number Four with 'Love Is Noise.

The Script have also topped the UK album chart, dislodging ABBA's Gold collection with their self titled debut. Noah And The Whale's debut 'Peaceful The World Lays Me Down' also went in at Number Five.

Elsewhere in the singles chart Coldplay's former Number One hit 'Viva La Vida' has jumped four place to Number 10 while Bloc Party's new single 'Mercury' went in at 16.
