Noah And The Whale will release a new album in March 2011.

The as-yet untitled LP is the Twickenham group's third studio effort, and will be the follow-up to 2009's 'The First Days Of Spring'.

Revealing the news, the band changed their website, NoahAndTheWhale.com, to display a black and white photo of a speaker with a figure of comic book character Tintin next to it, alongside the March release date.

Meanwhile, Charlie Fink and co are also working on the DVD release of the documentary First Days: A Film About Noah And The Whale.

Directed by Ben Adler, the film follows the band during the making of 2009's 'The First Days Of Spring'.

A release date for the documentary has yet to be announced.
