Noah And The Whale's Charlie Fink has said he'd like to write the theme song for the new James Bond flick Skyfall.
With the likes of Noel Gallagher, Adele and Queen all being rumoured to be in the running for penning the soundtrack for the film, the frontman joked that he would say yes if he was asked to contribute the music by the 007 franchise bosses.
When asked if he'd consider throwing his hat into the ring, told NME: "I didn't realise it was like that; I didn't know James Bond worked by you saying 'I'll do it'."
He then went on to add:
I'd love to do film and soundtracks, and you couldn't do much better than James Bond. Although I'm not sure I could necessarily write it… I suppose I'd say yes [if asked], though. It's pretty cool, isn't it?
However, the singer said he'd prefer to see Adele write the tune, adding: "She would be great, actually. That could be really good."
Noah And The Whale will tour the UK in March and April 2012. They will play 11 shows, kicking off at Dublin Olympia on March 16 and ending the run at London Royal Albert Hall on April 16.
The band released their third studio album, 'Last Night On Earth', earlier this year.
