Noel Gallagher: 'I fucking love Top Gear'
High Flying Birds man confesses his admiration for the Jeremy Clarkson fronted show
The ex-Oasis man, who is currently touring America with his band the High Flying Birds, professed his love of the programme in the latest of his Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere blog.
So…Indianapolis? Spent the day watching Top Gear on BBC America…I fucking love Top Gear
Gallagher also revealed that, during a gig in the city, he was heckled by a fan in the crowd while performing, Oasis classic, 'Supersonic'.
He added: "I don't know why, the gig was more like a town meeting in a village hall. I enjoyed it though. I don't know why someone shouted out REALLY FUCKING LOUDLY during Supersonic, 'WHERE'S BONEHEAD?' I mean . . . what does that even mean?"
Meanwhile, Gallagher had some time off to check out a statue of the Fonz from hit 1970's TV show Happy Days. The singer joked that some of his crew bore an uncanny resemblance to the leather-clad television icon, adding "looking at some of the pictures later it was hard to tell who was the actual Fonz".
Noel Gallagher is set to release a new EP this month, which is titled 'Songs From The Great White North'. The EP, which contains four tracks in total, will be released on 12' vinyl to celebrate this year's Record Store Day, which happens on April 21.
It is made up of his recent B-sides and includes his recent collaboration with Amorphous Androgynous 'Shoot A Hole Into The Sun' as well as previous offerings 'The Good Rebel', 'Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me' and 'I'd Pick You Everytime'.
